    Leveling Alchemy

I was wondering how hard it is to level alchemy, it is probably the only profession I havnt ever touched in my 10 years of playing but am looking to pick it up on 1 of my new toons soon to be 90, how much does it generally cost these days, is it hard to level? yes I know its different for every server but id still like to know, thanks!

500-600 is insanely cheap, just have to make about, just uses about 10-15 stacks of MoP herbs which are 20g a stack.

I leveled 1-600 a few days ago on a mid-pop relam and spent about 6k total buying everything from AH, some things like briarthorn can be in short supply on AH and get expensive but if you have a herbalist it would be quick to pop to specific areas and herb what the AH lacks to save money, but im too lazy and have plenty of gold.

The alchemy specialisation is a 1000g (ish) on top

Unless you get raped on prices of some of the lower supply herbs it's one of the cheapest crafting professions to level up, usually around 5-8k. Once you reach the 500-600 generally you can break even as well by just making potions or flasks which sell back to the AH for the same cost or possibly a slight profit.

    I'd take a gander at http://www.wow-professions.com/wowgu...ing_guide.html

There are likely better/more efficient/cheaper ways to go about powerleveling alchemy, but this is a pretty solid method. Having levelled all professions at least twice, and alchemy I've powerlevelled well over 10 times (multiple servers and all), alchemy is one of, if not the, easiest/cheapest crafting professions to power level.
