any beta hunters

just wondering if any hunters have acces to beta and if so have they tryed to tame any hydra's yet a certain raid boss hydra

I read that they haven't scaled the old raids yet. So it's probably impossible to even get to him. Saw someone post that they got wrecked by Lady Vashj. But once they do the scaling, I'll definitely be trying to figure out how to tame him.

it is 100% possible I just did it. While the mobs aren't scaled down the increased dmg formal is in so you can 5 shot most of the mobs.

I grabbed one of the quest mob hydras, didn't use it for long though, it stomps around like a full sized elekk or clefthoof.

Just grabbed him myself. The video shows him tamed, in bestial wrath, and the glyph of play dead 2 separate times. Might want to put it on HD if you can.

I hope not all the hydra's are to have the head fighting issues like that constantly... would be annoying.... Also has the new combat animations for scorpids been done yet... where they sting with their tails?

They do, at least, for now. That's been the case for hunters with hydras tamed already before they removed the pet tree in the game prior.

The new Draenor-model Hydra doesn't appear to have heads that fights each other, at least at the moment.

At the moment, no, they are not Exotics. I can't remember offhand if they've mentioned that they are intended to be or not.
