Is there any reason to use an exotic beast over a non-exotic one if the choice is up to you? or is it all equal damage?

So assuming that you don't need your pet to bring any buffs because your raid covers them all, is it just down to aesthetics?

Spirit beast is great for belts and the occasional "oh shit" heal. Just wish they would increase the range of it a little. Quillen bres is good for 10 mans where a bres may be lacking (assuming you have all the other buffs). Core hound Hero/lust comes in handy in CM's and the like as well
I'm not sure if they ever patched it out or not but you used to be able to brez yourself with the quillen if you were insanely fast. It was hilarious in PvP if you could do it consistently.
Exotics are better across the board in Warlords. All exotics will have either:
- 2 special abilities and 1 buff
- 2 buffs and 1 special ability
