One monument there looks like the gold dragon around elite mob portraits. Tied to a rare hunting achievement? The one in the last image has a gear with two crossed arrows on it. Only other place I've seen that was on the Alliance chopper.

It's not really clear what's the deal with them, but there was a bug 2 builds ago that enabled some to upgrade to level 4. Isn't really all that different from 3, though, just more plots. Also kinda annoying because it doesn't have a mission table anywhere, meaning you can't send your followers out.

I think the braid thing is the panda thing. The lanterns are the worgen thing. And the random golden spikes are the draenei thing, because when I think draenei I think random golden spikes.

Looks pretty cool actually, but I hardly understand the point still. Would have preferred real cities, or small player "houses" in major cities.

Jeebus, you are quite right! The braid has the Pandaren paw symbol, the lanterns are indeed from the Worgen crest and the spikes look like some of the spikes seen on Tempest Keep.

Compare the exterior walls (there's a thread below this one with the level 2 garrison), they look completely different. (Less wood more stone)

Well it was level 2 yesterday, today it's level 3. And nothing has been changed. Same walls, same towers, same town hall. Probably a bug

I like the updated Alliance crest because it incorporates all races of the Alliance... unlike the garrison buildings themselves.

The Armory is pretty much a dwarf-only building.

What's shown here definitely isn't the level 2, that looks far different. Smaller, more wood, less stone, different layout.
