IMO, turns should last half as long until about turn 8. There is absolutely no reason to take that long that early, your small amount of mana and cards means you have very few real decisions to consider.
I completely agree, there's supposed to be a system where if you hit the actual end of the fuse the next turn you go immediately into "I must choose" but I swear it hasn't worked properly for months - sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't. Regardless, entering the fuse phase should be the trigger rather than hitting the end of it.
