All of these things are pretty similar. Mine is to have a good time and hopefully meet a great person. I wouldn't say I am looking for marriage in every single date I go on, but I wouldn't even go on a date with someone if they weren't at least marriage quality at relative to that point in time. Dates or hanging out is really just a way to learn someone.

I was just thinking that when I dance with a stranger, I'm there to have fun. It's possible that while dancing with her, I discover that we have an electric chemistry that makes me want to get to know her better, but that's not the reason I go out on the dance floor. The same is generally true of dating for me.

I do agree with you though that 95% of the time, if she doesn't want to have sex by the third date, the chemistry probably isn't that great. I don't make a hard and fast rule of that, though.

Depends on what kind of relationship you're looking for from the person you're on a date with.

But most times, it really is all about enjoying yourself and seeing if there's chemistry between the two of you. If anything else happens, it's a bonus.
