How about Two Princes - Anduin and Wrathion as a single hero. Build into Anduin's talents for a heal heavy support or Wrathion for more damage.

I can see the hellion as a hero that can go Hellbat but then it kinda change its template to "Warrior" and be an "Assassin" in the other mode, with talents that give you a trade off between these two modes (like + resistance in hellbat -damage in Hellion) or something like that, it would be quite unique (and possibly OP)

Akhan: The Original Crusader

Q: Sweep Attack - 120 degree AoE sweep for X dmg, x mana, 6 sec CD
W: Iron Skin - reduce dmg taken by 50% for 3 seconds, 20 sec CD
E: Blessed Shield - Hurl your shield up to Y yards, dealing X dmg, x mana, 8 sec CD. Skillshot.
R1: Akkarat's Champion - Increase dmg by 35% and mana regen by X for 10 seconds (90 sec CD)
R2: Heavens Fury - Summon a pillar of light that home in on the nearest Hero dealing X dmg per second to all enemies in its path. Lasts 6 seconds (60 sec CD)
D: Steed charge - Charge into the fray for 3 seconds, becoming immune to dismount from dmg, and dealing X dmg to the first enemy in your path, increased for distance travelled (60 sec CD)

Some work on the balancing of those abilities re: CD length and durations probably needed I couldn't recall what other classes had to keep it in line. Also no idea of the scale of HotS so didn't bother adding range (60 yards? 10 yards? *shrug*)

Talents:
t1 - Reduce mana cost of Sweep attack
Iron Skin regenerates X health per second over its duration
Blessed Shield has increased range
Increase movement speed during Steed Charge by 25%

t4 - Sweep attack now burns enemies for X dmg over 3 seconds
Sweep attack knocks enemies up in the air
Increase the duration of Iron Skin to 4.5 seconds
Reduce the CD on Steed Charge
"Consecrate" (basically a slightly weaker Healing Totem but with no killable totem) AoE HoT, 45 sec CD.

t7 - Empowered Sweep Attack: After using Sweep attack, your attack speed is increased by 50% for 2 seconds
Blessed Shield can chain up to 4 bonus targets, but only deals 50% dmg to them. Cannot miss, but can hit minions/mercenaries.
During Iron skin, basic attacks stun the attacker for 1 second
Endurance Aura (??) - Increased AS and damage by 10%
"Phalanx: Shield Bearers" - works like half a Nazeebo zombie circle, but deals pitiful dmg on the OUTSIDE, mainly for use as obstruction. Curved to face the Crusader, so anyone caught in the pocket isn't attacked by the bodyguards as they face out away from the crusader

t10 - Akkarats Champ
Heavens Fury

t13 - Increase the damage of Sweep attack by 20% for every target hit. Increases the range of Sweep attack slightly
Sweep attack's CD is reduced by 1 second for each target hit.
Burning Rage: Deal X dmg per second to nearby enemies
Giant Killer: Basic attacks against heroes now deal bonus damage equal to 1.5% of the heros max HP

t16 - Executioner: Basic attacks deal 40% increased dmg to slowed rooted or stunned opponents
Blessed Shield now slows the main target by 50% for 3 seconds
"Condemn" - Works as the Diablo 3 ability, AoE centered on the Crusader, 3 second delay, high damage. Ability suppressed if CC'd
Steelskin - Ironskin can now hold 2 charges

t20 - Akkarats Champion: Prophet : If dealt fatal damage during Akkarats Champion, restore the Crusader to 100% HP but AC ends.
Akkarats Champion: Firestarter : Dealing damage causes the enemy to burn for 50% of the damage dealt over 5 seconds.
Improved Heavens Fury: Now spawns 3 pillars of light instead of 1. Enemies damaged by Heavens Fury are slowed by 20% for 2.5 seconds.
Bolt of the Storm: Activate to Teleport to a nearby location.

... I really like the Diablo 3 Crusader. This was off the top of my head, styled as a melee/short range that can be built super tanky or slightly damagy. I'm pretty new to MOBAs and I'm sure it shows I just want to see Crusaders in HotS
