Running WoW from a flash drive?

I know nothing about computers, practically. So I've been using my girlfriend's computer, and she absolutely refuses to let me put any programs on it whatsoever (It's a gaming computer she's using for Sims 4. What.) ANYWAY WoD beta is ~26gb, and I have a 32gb flash drive. Any downsides to just installing it on there and running it?

Also, it's already installing. Just want to know what to expect, haha.

It'll work, but be very slow. Hide your install on her computer in C:\Windows\ somewhere.

Nope. I did that for a few months until I bought a new computer. Worked fine (Mac, so if you're on Windows... dunno)

PS: I didn't really notice it being slow - of course it depends on the kind of flash drive, USB2, vs 3 etc. But it worked perfectly fine.

On USB 3 a Solid State Drive should be very fast. I'd probably get a bigger drive though.

Yes it works great. It's not slow at all. It actually doesn't reference the drive much at all past initial loading and even when it does, it's still plenty fast.
