    1. Is a simple Weakaura string for Living Bomb Tracking
    2. Is a weakaura to track ignite value, I know there are certain addons for it but I prefer using a string for (showing me the ignite value in perfect (or close to) numbers.

warcraftlogs.com/reports/vZVJhHnwz61xLNcg apologies, log is defaulting to thok. Malk is what i was hoping for guidance with

does anyone have a log of Mythic Malk they could share where they ran living bomb? I ran Unstable because we are melee heavy and they snag the add damage quickly so i wanted to see pure single target. the results were.... disappointing. not a great pull but 1.9% of damage seems very weak on inclines me to re think Living bomb even for single target. Was anyone else having different results? maybe RNJesus wasnt with me.

The thing is you're not just comparing Living Bomb damage to Unstable Magic damage, you have to compare your Pyroblast, Fireball and Inferno Blast damage from both pulls. Its UM damage plus what you pull with all the freed up GCD's from not casting LB.

  5. #85
True. and because of bad soaking, i was over using scorch also... better fireball use may have pushed UM further ahead too. saw some good blastwave pulls on warcraftlogs also though.

Evanesce is being disappointing, on Siegecrafter->Garrosh tonight and will try Ice Floes over. Unfortunate.

Once the combust spread with lust up and such it ticks pretty hard. My buddy was bursting 90k on shamans last night, and I have seen some mages over 100k on multiple targets during the opener.

As for the opener....pot at 3, pyro at 2 with troll racial, and then just start normal fire opener. Once you get your first crit, IB it to force the instant pyro (with 4 set its 100% crit chance on that Pyro), then get your next heating up and start your pyro chain. I could still be doing a lot of things wrong since I am still messing around with things, but this worked for me on this fight.
Thank you sir, appreciate the above info (I was running RoP throughout Heroic SoO last night and just getting used to my buttons...or lackthereof...and will probably try out IF on appropriate fights).

In current gear @ 90 UM is complete garbage. Blast wave and LB seem pretty close on single target, I've been seeing better results with Blast wave though.

So next Monday I will be going over all the information in the guide to update it to be more accurate to our results for 6.0 at 90 and at 100. Feel free to point out things and differences and it will be definitely looked at. Already I underrated Incanter's Flow myself!

IF is pretty good, definitely the best choice if you can't maintain RoP for the whole fight. Mirror images was very underwhelming ;/

Yeah, MI is a little weaker than what it seemed. Good for soloing though.

2 of my set pieces is heroic(or normal or whatever you wanna call it at this point) is it still worth to go fire or is the stat loss from them not being mythic make not as optimal? My crit is 53.7% without using crit food or elixir.

  13. #93
Hey LocNess, thanks for the guide. Returned to wow after like 2 years yesterday. Looking forward to the updates. I am finding the stat squish a bit hard to quantify item upgrades for example going from an ilvl 490 to ilvl 515 item I may loose 20 crit but gain int and haste. 20 seems insignificant from older numbers but in reality is quite a lot.

Some info on stat values in the guide would be cool

It seems the highest single target logs (juggernaut, sha of pride, malkorok) use UM atm. Ofcourse that doesnt mean its better but by now plenty of guilds have raided so it should give a decent picture.

What do you guys think is better for fire, 582 BboY, or 582 KtT?

They went UM because it's a easy talent to use and they probably thought it would be better but it definitely is not

But wasnt it theorycrafted, at least for living bomb, that it was even a dps loss to cast it on a single target, so then UM would always be better woudnt it? I will try blastwave tonight, seems like an interesting talent.

EDIT: http://altered-time.com/forum/viewto...=4&t=580#p6704 for reference. Living bomb is a dps loss on single target, even when you have the talent you shoudnt cast it on single target.

Dutchmagoz did a decent job on Thok with blastwave (currently top ranked mage), I'm not sure if thats because of the bat damage or because blastwave is better on single target.

Yup, you're right. It's not that top raiders think it's too hard to use LB on single target. Lol.

Wonder if this could now be Enchant of choice at least in 6.0?
120 Crit seem very powerfull if it really work as in description.

Though, in description it say nothing on what kind of ability it can trigger (for example Jade Spirit and Windsong in description do mention spells) so not sure if it only work on melee or also on spells.

Executioner and mongoose are TBC melee enchants so I'm quite sure they only proc from melee attacks. You would have to test it to be sure tho.
