LFD 'needing' ?

I don't mind for transmog, but when it happens in LFR and we DON'T kick them, I will wipe the raid. Plenty of ways to do that on almost every boss. I do care about the gold, since I don't do dailies.

and everyone has got to agree, this is something that has been happening since the beggining of WoW, so many years after, people still need something they don't for their own personal greedy reasons. Guess what, nothing changed and nothing will, as long as it is human nature to be greedy and to act on that instinct, people will still act on it and be greedy.

You got it right, I usualy did it, not anymore but that doesn't matter. I really felt like it wasn't right and I'm not defending that people doing it are doing something right.

But what is the point of debating this? People will keep on doing it and to be honest, it's not something worth caring for, if you are really going to say something like 30g adds up, then you are caring too much, seriously.

If you care about 30g as much as people who care about it enough to need on those items, then you belong to the same bunch, the difference is, the first guy has got the balls to get the 30g.

Now say a tank can get in 8 or so dungeons in an hour that now 2400 gold.
I am not there for someone to use to farm gold.
If they want everything solo it.

You do benefit from it with the DE roll.

There's no solid proof actually. But even if it's true...
Everyone can roll DE for any stuff. But not everyone can roll NEED. That means your chance to get mats is higher if you NEED than DE.

There is no point to this, there is no debate. It is wrong but there is nothing you can do about it that can change greedy people.

You can always need on those items too and be done with it, what else? leave the dungeon, that would be your best option, instead of stop healing/dps and waste the other 3 people's time on your group which might not actually care about that green item you seem so sad about losing.

I dont care if ppl need on green items, what i hate is when ppl need on items that are not for their MS. Happened many times while I was leveling my alts. I'm leveling my monk tank and monk healer needs on agility gear or weapon. Blizzard needs to implement something to prevent that. Or he can need but if you needed for your spec you get the item... Not hard at all...

And you do realize when needing maybe I can't need on that item because plate and I ain't plate wearer.
But someone in full purples doesn't need it either.
A little common courtesy would be nice in this game.

I find it a legitimate reason, especially if the person says; 'needed for transmog'; it is a system Blizz put in, some greens are pretty nice through out the game.

The people who need on everything; I ignore them and add them to a list for my friends to ignore as well, as they usually prefer to not run with idiots and jerks either.

If you can't or won't play nice or share with others then a MMO isn't for you.

You are right, I give up. Maybe 100 years from now this thread will realise the same as me and know that there is nothing that can be done about this. Probably after writing the same obvious thing a thousand times, that being a ninja is wrong.

Who the fuck cares about greens? Thank god I don't go for LFR and LFD. I just do stuff as pre-made groups because... well this thread is a good example why. I have an addon set up to auto need everything because I don't want to see the god damn item pop up on my screen.

I considered myself poor because people in my guild had 10+ times the gold I do but you guys are unbelievable. I mean come on I've seen people at 40+ mil gold and some still give a shit about greens?
The entire gold I needed this expansion and probably the next one was made in 1 week by selling pets from realm to realm and herb/alchemy flasks.

I'm not sure about other people but I like to need on things that I can use for transmog. No one seems to mind seeing how no one really cares for the green stuff anymore. That's the only time I need though, other than when I really need something of course.

I mean, people in 550+ ilvl gear needing every green? Is it greed, is it general bad manners? Are they bots? Whats the general consensus on this?

Based on a smallish data sample, (150 dungeons) I have to say kazzak-eu are pretty notorious for this, sorry to say!

Should we all just need everything now then? Is that common practice, seems poor.

No consequences means bad manners are more common.
