none of those question apply to me, i just visit this dump at work almost constantly because it's filled with 24/7 vocal egos that think they are entitled or have right to manipulate other people or express their raging hate towards what happens in a videogame. And i find that hilarious.

There are nice people here as well though.

1: Fairly well, really, except ofcourse for the obvious trolls and such. Generally I feel treated alright, though.
2: Not really, but I do enjoy the occasional PM of appraisal when someone agrees with me!
3: Oh, I've had some satirical threads closed but I generally attempt to remain friendly and avoid infractions.

I feel MMO-Champion is a great place to read alot of interresting things, join somewhat civil discussions and follow interresting WoW related gossip. That said, the mood here is generally negative and people usually come here to complain which can be a bit depressing at time but remains fairly easy to deal with.

Thoughts about MMOC: Good and up-to-date WoW news source. 99% of the forum is filled with the scum of the earth. Once in a while (once per month or so) there's a truly interesting thread. Legends tell that on extremely rare occasions a thread doesn't end up as a slaughter-fest. (I have yet to see one :3)

Not really no, i spoke with one or two people from here somewhat frequently but that's dead and gone; Outside of that there's a few people on here who i like, but that's the limit.

I don't think I've ever met anyone IRL from MMO-C, though I know several of the Tankspot guys IRL.

I have, however, learned a lot about politics and history and other things here.

Occasionally people have actually convinced me that I was wrong about a topic, but 80% of the time, I'm more likely to simply stop posting in the thread than to admit it. Don't think if I stop posting I've been convinced though. Sometimes I stop just because the effort of coming up with a cogent argument isn't worth it.

I don't like how much focus WoW seems to get, I understand it's the most popular MMORPG and most of the time it feels just like a typical fansite, but other times it seems like advertising for Blizzard takes primary focus. (Anything new on the cash shop is always be presented here on the front page clearly.)
It's the community on here that keeps me coming back though.
