Scaled down UBRS ilvl

Anyone have any idea what the gear ilvl will be when the scaled down UBRS comes with patch 6.0?

I think he means scaled down because UBRS is a level 100 dungeon which is briefly scaled down to 90 just for the prepatch. It goes back to 100 at launch.

There's actually 6 versions of the instance if you look at the items/zone in wowhead. Depending on what level you are when you queue for it you'll get loot according to that.

The level 90 version drops 530 http://wod.wowhead.com/item=109764&bonus=518
Level 92 drops 550 http://wod.wowhead.com/item=109764&bonus=519
Level 94 drops 570 http://wod.wowhead.com/item=109764&bonus=520
Level 95 drops 600 http://wod.wowhead.com/item=109764&bonus=521
Level 97 drops 615 http://wod.wowhead.com/item=109764&bonus=522
Heroic 100 drops 630 http://wod.wowhead.com/item=109764&bonus=524

The items themselves are the same stat balance and look/name. Only the amount of stats changes.

Now for some reason on ptr currently, players who queue are getting zoned into the level 92 version and getting 550 ilvl loot. So this may mean it will actually be possible to do this at level 88 when leveling (in which case the level actually refers to the boss level in this case, eg 90+2 for boss, +3 is usually raid boss).

Whether they continue to lock players out based on specific level gaps remains to be seen.

From what I recall, UBRS has two new versions.

The pre-patch event version is not the same as the new WoD version- supposedly the incursion we push out, and then there's a revamped full dungeon. IIRC the one for 6.02 at 90 only has 3 bosses, and the WoD version has 5?

It's strange, no staff/bow, and 1h weapons being only main hand. I hope they fix that :c

I don't think the idea was for every class to get every slot from there. There's also no non-sword 1H, if you notice.

Thats why i think it's strange, last time blizzard did it was on theramore scenario and it had loot for every spec. Idk, it's just strange imho.

Yeah, but it only had two slots- head and weapon. The new dungeon has 4 slots, and most characters have access/can use at least 3 out of the 4.

You'll also be able to buy 550 pvp epics for honor which are vastly superior than the crapolas that drop from that dungeon.

Eh, the rings from the dungeon are mostly better than PvP rings, but it's class/spec dependent.
