Will Garrisons help boost leveling up professions?

Pretty much what I'm wondering.

Sort of. When you have a crafting profession of any kind (first aid is included), special loot items can drop off of mobs for you. You can then combine these items with a small amount of raw materials (ore/leather etc) and it will turn into a different item and give you +points in that profession. The item you "craft" can then be turned in to a special NPC in your garrison for extra resources.

Skill ups in this way are only available to the mop profession cap. To level your professions through wod levels you have to make the wod recipes which you can also get via having that profession building in your garrison.
