What type of mug do you prefer for hot drinks?

I am just trying to do some research into what type of mugs people prefer to use when drinking hot drinks.

Also what are your reasons for using this type of mug and not using others?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

One big enough so that i can comfortably hold it with 2 hands to warm my hands, but not so large that my soup gets cold before i finish it.

i had one of those double walled cups once (they are not vacuum), sadly while they are pretty neat, they are also more fragile then a regular solid walled mug. (also i think that is a cup, not a mug)

I use both Ceramic and Bone China mugs, I really don't like Steel or Plastic mugs.

Reasons - I have always used Ceramic mugs since childhood, anything else tastes funny to me now.

I don't like the way clear coffee vessels never feel clean. My ceramic mugs aren't clean either, but they don't look visibly dirty even upon finishing one cup.

I'm drinking out of a stainless steel cylinder right now, but that's just because my boss got tired of me spilling out of my ceramic TARDIS and wanted me to get something with a lid. Plus, I dropped my TARDIS and it shattered.

I'm not quite sure how rolling would work out trying to do all that at once, but sure!
