Love my glass beer tankard for tea and coffee. though ceramic is fine, main downside is that i don't have sizable ceramic mugs.

A nice tankard or ceramic. Tankard's just feel so manly, ceramic is really nice for tea.

I use a large ceramic mug. Mostly out of habit and because it was part of a house warming gift package from my mum when I moved out.

Ceramic, simply because they seem to be the most readily available.
This is my favourite mug at the moment, because it has Bob, Bob's snark and it hold copious amounts of tea.

Ceramic. Not too big but not too small, pref thick base with a thinish lip and a good sturdy handle. I prefer not to drink out of black or dark brown mugs feels weird to me and I always feel like it doesn't taste the same, strange I know.
I've seen some available with a hole in the base for carrying 2/3 buiscuits, big plus for me, i might have to find one i like
