I got the Mythic Captive Micro-Aberration from my Highmaul Cache, and I'm wondering if it's really as good as this trinket ratings post suggests.

Wouldn't the on use from the Lucky Double-Sided Coin generally be better lined up with 10 stack TeB and Serenity?

The Lucky coin will always be a solid choice, but when it comes to personal execution of the encounter, surviving and following the mechanics correctly mean much more. Buy it if you got a f ton of disposable amount of gold, otherwise keep the imperator trinket, its still a solid dps trinket (albeit, enhancements love it more than us.).

Does the haste buff change the serenity priority?

I'm running several sims right now. But this change does bump up hastes value even for Serenity.





Initial review is showing, if you have been prioritizing MS > Haste gear for Highmaul, then stat weights are not changing..

I have been told that the stat Priority does change slightly if specced into Ascension, so I'm testing that right now. Plus I'll be running Talent dps combos afterwards. It's just testing this in debug mode (non-release mode) does take a lot longer to run than the release mode.

So the basic stat weights right now are:

Serenity + Chi Brew:

MS > Haste > vers/Crit >>> Mastery

Serenity + Ascension:

MS > Vers/Haste/Crit >>> Mastery

ChiX:

Haste > MS > Vers/Crit >>> Mastery

The reason for the difference for Serenity is that with Ascension, you are more likely to be hitting energy cap longer and thus the lower value to haste.

It's in the que for simming. But like I said, I'm running in Debug mode in my local build of SimC. So it takes a lot longer than the release that is put out.

I'm looking for some advice with regards to weapons given the recent changes.

I'm currently using a 676 Bladefist and 670 Phemos with Frostwolf and Warsong respectively.

I also have a 670 Earthwarped staff. Shoulf I be using the staff now? If so what enchant?

Also would it be better to swap my neck/ring enchants for haste (currently MS) now given the improved rating of Haste?

I currently go with Ascension/ChiEx on Tectus, Brackenspore and Twins.
