Remember Chimaeron? that hydra that Neffy cooked up and used it to kill you over and over and over?
Well now you can tame him, and this video shows you how you can do it!

Oh wow. Nice one
Best Hydra in the game model wise
so you have to wait until he does the massacre to tame him? or it has to been dropped down to a certain HP % ?
You likely won't need a healer to do this, but you will want to watch out for your damage, especially if you're going in as Marksmanship. All you have to do is get him to 20%, where he enrages.
Seriously though, if you've been heroic/mythic raiding and open with an Aimed/Chimaera then he will die.
If you tame him, does it screw up the raid lock out?
I just did and I can't continue on to kill Nef.
If you're geared significantly (i570+) you may want to do the fight on 25-man to give you more breathing room on the tame. Old raid mobs/bosses melt now.
You're not allowed to discuss conspiracy theories on mmo-champion, which makes me wonder what they're trying to hide.
did this with relative ease as BM. pet MD and tank, carefully dps'd him down and started dismissing my pet just before 20%, pet pushed over into enrage as i dismissed. detterence, tame, GG no RE.
Frankly, Hydras should give Multistrike. I mean seriously, Blizz.
I'm imagining that come December you'll see Chimaeron with non-BM Hunters and Gara with BM Hunters somewhere around 95% of the time out in the open world.

Would anyone be so kind a tell a noob non-hunter why it has to be done below 20%? Back in my days you didn't have to damage beasts you wanted to tame.
