Not really though....
You've had how long to farm valor and upgrade your gear? and how long to sit on not entirely useful coins?
Man blizzard really is damn if you do damn if you don't on EVERYTHING. They just can't catch a break.

I doubt Blizzard expected people to farm frogs for upgrades. They knew that a lot of players had a bazillion Lesser Charms with nothing to spend them on, so they probably just figured that would be the best choice of currency for the one month upgrades would continue to be relevant after Valor was removed.
