And questing them is not even that boring; if not for the ridiculous launch issues this would have been an incredible start to the expansion.

Done Frostfire and the start of Gorgrond, and it's fantastic. The visuals and music are great, the quest direction likewise.. Really enjoying it so far.
I wasn't as amazed as I was walking into Hellfire Peninsula for the first time and looking at the sky when TBC first came out, but I chalk that up to being jaded after years of seeing what blizz can do. The quest flow is nice and diverse enough and the addition of the garrison is nice because it has me constantly going back and fourth breaking up the grind between questing and work orders/missions.
My wallpaper is currently a screenshot of the moons/skybox in Shadowmoon Valley, from the Moonlit Beach or whatever it's called.
The zones are amazing

Nothing lasts forever, as they say.
But at least I can casually play Classic and remember when MMORPGs were good.
Kudos to Blizzard. These are indeed the best zones they've designed yet. The new zones are spectacularly beautiful and extremely well laid out.
