    Playable Hozen and Jinyu...anyone :O?

Many will disagree, but.. well this is a forum after all
Okay i will be clear, i did not like Pandaria too much, (i stopped playing at the second patch), not couse of pandarens wich are fine to me, but the general tone of the expansion really made me feel like i wasn't playing WoW, i don't know... Anyway there are few things that i enjoyed a lot... and yes That is the Hozen (i played Horde side)..

I know many of you don't like them, but i think they would be damn good in the horde, not only they are very peculiar, and funny to me, but how they appear also just fit the horde.

It's true they don't have much backstory, and of course there are other races that chould be done playable first (OGRES PLS...JESUS)
But i would see them (and the jinyu too, but i don't know them too much well) more like "painless" addition to the game, they can build up story up when they join the ranks, not to mention they have good base model to work with, (and blizz experience with the remodels of old races should also be useful in this situation).

I liked how they moved around, how they talked, and in general all about them.
I can see Goblins doing all kinds of crazy explosive stuff, and let the hozen pull the trigger

Well, i don't really know too much about Jinyu so i can't really tell, but they look good to be an alliance race, to me.

    Okay let the rage begin

Third patch is arguably where the expansion got 'warcraft-y' again.

And I'd much rather they focus on the existing races more than create more playable races that are completely forgotten about as soon as their starting zone ends.

No thank you. I rather have nothing to do with Pandaria anymore, and that includes those two races.

    Seeing pandaren is enough.

Meh, I would rather have oracles or even saberon, or arrakkoa, the hozen were kind of silly.

No thank you. I never want to see either of them even as NPCs let alone as player races. I just want to forget everything about MoP.

Didn't take long to escalate into a "omg im a grownz up i hate dem pandaz". Grow up guys.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure it'll never happen, nor should it. They were just a side-race to help the story, they are way too niche compared to the likes of Ogres or even Naga.

So much angry teenagers here Don't wory guys, one day you wont have to pretend being an adult and just be one.

That said I really would like to see more race in wow. Jinyu would be great. HOzen not sur if they can fit the playable race exigence (being quadrupedal would probably clip a lot of armors). And they are MoP races, probably too late now.

But in the same way I would like to see Saberon and Botani as playable race (even if lore don't really favor this, I know).
WoW is really lacking in character customisation, and one way to improve this without completly changing the engine is to let more race in.

Thank god for a post that wasn't "i hate MoP", and yes, one of the cool things about WoW is the amount of races you can play as, (and the Hozen can stay on 2 feet from what i have seen") and even if they go quadrupedal, the worgens go quadrupedal too without too many problems.

Finally someone that says that Jenyu are good

I do think the Jinyu models look pretty awesome and would make a cool playable race. There's that one potion (I forget what it's called) that turns you into a Jinyu Assassin for X seconds and increases your run/swim speed, and I remember thinking that looked pretty badass.

Hozen...I don't really have an opinion one way or the other. I mean....they throw poop and yell things like "ME GONNA OOK YOU IN THE DOOKER" at Pandaren children, so uh...yeah.

Although, to be honest, new playable races stop being interesting to me after I reach level 10-15 and get out of their initial starting zones. Every new expansion that's introduced new races, I've always done the same thing: roll one, get to whatever level, get out of their starting zones to visit either Stormwind or Orgrimmar, then get bored with them. The new starting zones and questlines are always a lot of fun to me, but once you get out of those, there's nothing that keeps me playing them.

Lol that's funny, in my case it's the total opposite, i kinda get bored in the intial zone (GOD ESPECIALLY THE ONE FOR GOBLINS), and basically i can't wait until the "real" game start with that race

They would have been better horde/alliance races than pandas.

but yeah, dont want them as well as as pandas.

First side note, so much mop hate, why am I not surprised

Second I could see the Jinyu working, but the hozen, no can't see that working at all

I would rather have Ogres or Arakkroa. Jinyu could work, I can see them getting along with Night Elves and Draenei.

    Hozen? Eeeeh, nah.

Pandaria, for me and I know many others, only survived because it nailed it's mechanics and systems.

I'd really rather not go back to anything they introduced lore wise.

Ignoring the comments about "hurr durr pandas are stoopid" that make me want to bash skulls in, no, I would not like to see these guys as a playable race despite my love for the expansion.

    Hozen sure.

Jinyu god no. Just another Night elf repaint with little involvement in Pandaria, even pre-5.1
