Restorative Waves - Missing?!

So, I was reading through the hotfix they'll give us shammies. 5% more healing in the passive skill "Restorative Waves"

I wanted to have a look at it in my spellbook, but... I can't find it? Anyone else who can't, or what is this sorcery? I've read over all of my skills, but I don't seem to have it?? :S

It's not there. I believe they removed some passives from the Spellbook to avoid 'clutter'. I think it's a bit dumb, cause passives were at the later pages anyway, so only if you really wanted to look for them you'd notice them at all.

A lot of class passives were merged into the spells themselves or removed from the spellbook entirely because of the apparent "confusion" that they caused. You can always look at the talent calculator on wowhead, as it usually shows all the of class passives in the list box.

This is going to sound odd, but since the adjustment, my healing seems to have gone down. I could just be imagining things but I'm certain my heals were more potent (in pvp this is) pre buff.

Kind of ironic how this is having the opposite effect now.

nope, it is a plain 5% to all healing

To elaborate further, it's a buff to all healing done. As far as I am aware it excludes healing from HR and our totems.

I just tested, and (to my surprise) you are correct about it not including HR and totems.

So it was a 4% (1.3/1.25 - 1 = 0.04) buff to roughly half of our healing.

No wonder it's completely unnoticeable in the warcraftlogs.com HPS stats.

Only because people are constantly paranoid about stealth nerfs. Everything is always a conspiracy to destroy their class.
