what cosmetic options would you use to create a "pretty" human female?

I just can't seem to get one that doesn't look odd to me. I think the main part getting me stuck is the head option, they all look kinda big and odd shaped.

Complexion on 0 (what do you like for complexion?)
blue eyes
dark brown hair

also what skin color # gives a perfect tan? they all look too dark or too white, or yellow to me.

I don't know the exact options, but my main is the short skinny chick, the expansion pack longer hair (but with hood), no scars, brown eyes, lighter complexion with freckles. I also have an asian looking one with black hair and blue eyes, also short build.
