Game recording and video editing

Hey, I've checked a few video recording programs that can record WoW gameplay, but it seems that all they can do is record the video/audio, but for editing the clip I recorded I have to use another software? That kinda sucks... Is there a program that can do both and is still good? And if not, is there a decent free video editor?

And no. There are decent low cost solutions though if the Windows Movie Maker you get free isn't enough.
