So I just saw the latest commercial on Comedy Central for this wonder drug. I had to rewind it to make sure I heard them correctly. They are now hyping it up with the fact that it was banned from the NFL and the Olympics "because it's such a performance enhancer" and this was seconds after they said "Extenze doesn't make outrageous claims because it really works."

A quick Google result told me it was in fact really banned by the NFL but not because they don't want players with huge penises. It was banned because it contains a steroid that is on the no no list. Even if it contains a performance enhancing steroid (and not every steroid has this effect) what does that have to do with making your penis bigger? Last time I heard, steroids made your junk shrink. Do men actually buy into this crap? How can this claim even be legal is beyond me.

Are men so self conscious and vain that they'll buy any penis and hair pill out there just like women will buy any anti-aging cream that hits the market?

It's kind of sad. What's even sadder is I don't think most men realize that watching porn has this effect on them. They just see these nuclear reactor dicks and think "damn, I wish mine was that big" when in reality the guys with those huge wangs probably went to some pretty crazy lengths to get that big, doing things that probably have a negative affect on their overall health.

Of course, its the same with women and boobjobs, although its even worse for them because the size of a woman's breasts can be seen in any form of visual media (movies, TV, etc.), not just in porn. I know a few women who have gotten boobjobs and while I can't lie, they're nice to look at, it's also a bit unfortunate that some women feel the need to do that to themselves just to feel more attractive.

I'm married and love porn as does the wife - I've watched it since I discovered the nets vast database of it back in the early 90s. Perfectly happy with mine though if the average is what, 4.5" (feel really sorry for those at the average and below it) then I'm sitting pretty.

Of course self conscious men get mixed signals. One side says women don't care about size but then I think there's an informercial for a pill with porn stars all sitting around chatting about the topic. They act all coy and flirty with the message that penis size does matter and if your aren't carrying a footlong then women won't want ya.

Kinda sad that miracle products are still a thing for both men and women.
