    Help with Fps drops

I am lagging in wow with a r9 295x2. Nothing is running hot, the card is 55c on load. I have a 4k monitor and regardless of the resolution I put it on I am experiencing lag( I tried turning it down thinking it would help); it is almost like a stutter, it will be running at 60 frames and just drop for no reason I could be just standing there. It would stay at 60 in a 40 man molten core stay that way during combat and then just drop randomly. This also happens regardless of it being on good, high or ultra. Nothing is overclocked. Any help would be great. The card has 8g of memory on it I don't think I should be getting these stuttering drops.

    I have:
    8g Gskill
    850w evga gold psu
    asrock z77 extreme6
    i5 3570k
    windows 7 64 bit

Try disabling Crossfire. I personally get more fps with SLI off on WoW. Furthermore, when SLI is on, although FPS is over 60, it looks as if it's stuttering. I'd say it's worth a shot - you should have enough power with single GPU even on ultra settings.

I did that, changed it to 1x1 optimization in catalyst. It only drops for a split second, but its enough to be annoying.

If you're running with Omega drivers then try and revert back a version or two. Not sure if the problems with them were ever fixed for WoW.

Also, Xperl is known to have some issues if you're running that.

I'd suggest disabling all addons and see if the problem persists and going from there after you verify the drivers aren't the issue.
