BE models in 6.1?

Updating a game, any game, does not suddenly 'get easier'. Especially when replacing old technology, THAT SHIT is the most time consuming, delicate process you'll ever do. Ever. So get off your high horse and get into game development, when the whip comes down on you, you can preach about how bloody easy it is.

I only create minor 2D assets for smaller titles and even that's a painstaking process of, maths, art, trial and error and predicting unpredictable factors of clashing code. Clipping issues, bugs that can crash the client, formatting, you've really got no clue.

Even Blizzard who aren't working out of bedroom studios and all their technology have to work through the same issues. And on a game of WoW's size? The thought nearly makes me ill.

The models are coming but blizzards well tested and well received policy of 'ready when ready' should be observed.

Yeah, they threw "ready when ready" out the window with WOD and the WOD 6.0 models. I understand why they did but ye gods what a mess. May they never do it again.

And every single character artist is also an expert at level design by these people's logic. Like it's zero-sum or something.

This is the third time you've said this. No one asked whether you want new content over models. Besides, it's not zero-sum, content will come with the new models.

Also the clear demand for new models that led Blizz to make new models means that a good deal of people disagree with you.

From what I've heard, Blood elf npcs have gotten HD skins there.
That should include High elf npcs as well.

Well most people would just post the default Belf skin and leave it at that.
Unfortunately few people even know what High elves are.
