Why is this trinket listed so low? It's fucking bonkers. A guildy has the 885 version and it does almost double the damage of 915 Infernal Cinders. Have to start pugging guldan now off nights off?

The trinket still does more direct damage than most others, but it comes at the opportunity cost of using your normal abilities, making it not quite as great an increase as implied. Once you drop T19 4p, its value drops significantly, due to a large portion of its damage falling out of Enrage.

The true strength of DoS was that it combined with BC and T19 really well to make a trinket that hit really hard.

With the loss of T19, the nerfs implemented by Blizzard and the introduction of multiple target fights in ToS mean that DoS has dropped a lot in value since T19 which was mostly ST fights.

This not to say that it is rubbish in terms of trinket options (particular if you are still in t19 4p) but that as you progress forward in ToS there are simply better options available now.

You will however do well to farm Eli in NH for CoF.
