http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Bz6dzy I was going to to get something run of the mill but i figured if im getting a beasty rig i may as well get a monitor that makes it pretty lol. I'd like to keep the budget between 100-150$ if possible also open to suggestions not exceeding over 200$. Im pretty clueless as to which monitors are best so any and all help is greatly appreciated.

IDK if you can get a good monitor in that price range.

Before you buy something, take a look at VG248QE
    http://www.asus.com/us/Monitors_Projectors/VG248QE/
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824236313

    Best monitor ever made.

This is the only monitor that works with nvidia 3D and GSync as far as I know.

Thats a good monitor but it does not support gsync out of the box, nor is anywhere near the best monitor ever made

For under 150.00 bucks id say this is about the best monitor you are gonna find:
    http://www.amazon.com/Asus-VS229H-P-...568567-6438517

If you wanted to spend a bit more money this is the one id recommend:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824236424

    Both solid choices.

VG248QE is a very mediocre monitor.
    Poor uniformity.
    Poor color accuracy.
    Can not be calibrated.
    Low Hz PWM.

Reviews are somewhere on Pcmonitors and prad.de both outcome being the same.

    At $200~.
    Dell P2414H isn't bad.
There was another that I forgot the name of... =\
