    Gearing question (Disc)

    Guys, general question:

I am running into some gearing decisions. They seem intuitive, but then again, I always hesitate to give up mastery. Do you guys give up mastery when going up 10-15 ilvls on a piece? For instance, i just replaced heroic Seeking Ember Girdle with mythic Deckhand's Rope Belt. I gave up 137 mastery and 127 haste to gain 30 int, 45 stam, 131 crit, 166 multistrike and 131 speed. What if it was 5 or 10 ilvls?

You can look me up on Armory. Meradith on Stormreaver (US). I am thinking I need to be in the 695 items, but my mastery has dropped to 26.08% (12.8%+12.28%) unbuffed and I hate losing that.

Any thoughts or good explanations out there for me? Thanks in advance.

I thought crit/mastery were somewhat equal so it should be an upgrade with the 30 int you gain.

With my current gear given in Myl's spreadsheet I am getting

Intellect Spellpower Critical Mastery Haste (HPET) Multistrike Versatility

    1.00000 0.90703 0.49906 0.61518 0.61299 0.50035 0.45002 for power word shield
    1.00000 0.90703 0.66232 0.54038 0.61299 0.50035 0.45002 for prayer of healing

I stick with weights geared for PWS since it is still 50-60% of my healing. So install the Pawn addon, insert those weights, or close to it, and it will give you a rough idea of item upgrades.

So @Naux, mastery is still considerably better than crit.
It would be Int>Spirit>Spell Power>Mastery>Haste(based off fight length)>Multistrike>Crit>Vers

In that situation i would keep rocking the Heroic Belt. Mythic Beastlord is pretty easy and you can farm it out if you really want the mythic version. However i don't feel that 30 int makes up for the loss of 137 mastery.
