I remember this guild been destroyed to the ground with tha shame of been piloted by some other guild, but seen their progress, they weren't that bad after all. They just lost money without any gain. I'm talking about KLG from Ragnaros-US. They lost the money I need to do some real stuff

They're world #96 right now, and obliterated their main competitor for a realm first. Maybe the reason they bought the boost is not Imp realm first, which I'm sure they knew was going to get stripped away from them, but to just attract a lot of attention to their guild, maybe get some high quality people who otherwise wouldn't have heard about them?
