I think it's fine, does not effect me or anyone else in any negative way. Friendship after all is one of the biggest reasons for living.
Nothing worse than seeing ugly people going at it in public. The type of weirdos that appear on Jeremy Kyle.
It's fine for attractive lesbians though.
Doesn't bother me at all. As long as it's classy and not "I'm going to mount you and dry hump you in the mall". Hugging, holding hands, holding loved ones close, and brief kisses are fine.

there's not enough and not extreme enough.
people should be having sex everywhere on the street and in buildings
If people don't want to see me masturbate in public, they should stop having sex on park benches.
My husband and I hold hands when we go out, sometimes we'll hug or kiss. The kisses are usually short, and nothing more then a 'hey, I love you!' sort of thing. We have the privacy of our home for a reason.
If others do that, then I don't really care. Just as long as it's not overly enthusiastic :P
Anything more than light PDA treads the lines towards sexual activity, and as per social convention, that's inappropriate in public. I don't see the problem in keeping it that way. Let enthusiastic and unrestrained shows of affection continue be a matter for the privacy of people's bedrooms.
Man and wife got fired for public displays of affection where I worked. Every year they gave us sexual harassment training and every year they said even married couples couldn't show public displays of affection, but these two couldn't control themselves apparently.

I'm personally not really disturbed one way or the other by PDA's except if they are noisy about it. For me though, I prefer to keep my PDA's short and sweet. Hand holding, hugs, short kisses mostly... maybe a more passionate longer kiss when its a goodbye for an extended time or a return from a trip away from them. People who make out hardcore in public are... inconsiderate I suppose, but ultimately I don't have much issue with them unless their bumping into me while making out or just making too much noise about it.
gosh..... so much backwoods mentality in only 3 pages.
How many of you guys turning a red face when you see yourself naked? Admit it... lmao
I smell some double standards too, might be wrong. But with all the acceptance towards porn, this reluctance towards display of real affection strikes me weird.
Else... Shit happens. People get carried away at times. I don't care what they do.
I'm not jealous either, I can get my own wants and needs covered.
There's a few exceptions like one really doesn't have to offend against a proper sense of reverence..
Like come on, can't you just wait a moment, do you really have to make out on top of the coffin now?
Or you don't really have to give a good show when you know that there are kids around.
