Mount farmers- How lucky and persistent are you?

Guess I was quite lucky this expansion.

In warlords of draenor I obtained the Reigns of the ravenlord and the fiery warhorse as well as the zulian panther.

I then worked towards the Winterspring Frostaber and the vanquisher flying mount from 25 man ICC achievments.

Sitting on tablet so not going through all my data. As for being lucky it usually increase the day before an expansion. I got Blue Drake from LFG Oculus day before Cataclysm and got the Blazing Drake day before Pandaria. As for other mounts I didn't farm, jukebox came so went to some raids to get some scrolls and got Life-Maiden on first kill of solo heroic deathwing. As for current content got realm (world?) first on the rare elekk mount from Nagrand as soon as I hit 100 at around 8 am.

Started farming mount late MOP/WOD so i have been preaty damn lucky so far. But no mounts the lats two weeks, so i think my luck is running out.

I've been regularly farming Rivendare's Deathcharger since I was high enough level to solo the place. Nothing. I did get his Runeblade once. While I was disappointed when I saw something purple that wasn't the mount, it does make a nice transmog piece (warrior here).

I only saw the mount drop once, and that was in a level 60 run back in Classic WoW. Which meant I had to roll against everyone else in the group, and of course I lost the roll to someone who probably quit playing years ago.

Raven Lord: one try. My hunter friend was farming it and asked me to come and help him (this was at level 80, when the instance required could be a _little_ difficult for someone who wasn't geared). So I did, not because I wanted the mount, but because I was bored. Mount dropped on our first run. I wanted to pass and just let him have it (since I didn't care), but he insisted I roll too. I won. I think the only time I've used that mount was to strut around Ironforge and do the "lol new mount lolz" thing. Although he quit playing a couple of months later, so I don't feel too bad.

Blue drake from malygos

I'm kinda at the point where I am growing convinced that my account is cursed and I'm currently looking for an exorcist or something to help me get rid of it. Nothing, absolutely nothing whatsoever drops. I'm farming a lot of mounts with 10+ chars each week and I haven't gotten nil, not even a single garrison invasion mount either. ;(

I've had luck that would just make people mad, but I've also had some long farms.

The only mounts that I truly struck out with were the original ZG mounts, but I wasn't able to farm them for that long (a few months I think, and only on 1 toon).

I just finished my Mimi's Head/Invincible grind that I was doing 8 times a week..for both instances..I'm ecstatic that it's over.

How do you check your amount of kills across charrs?

I have heard there is an addon that is capable of joining all stats together, but personally I just added the numbers in the armory for all my characters. The ones that aren't in the armory I had an idea of how many it took me.

i stopped trying when it became painfully clear that i would never collect all mounts. some are impossible to obtain.

i'll get back into it if blizzard ever makes them all obtainable in game

I'm at about 80 Onyxia kills for her mount and still no luck. It's the only one I've really farmed and I'm convinced now if I stop then I'll miss my opportunity.

Blizzard confirmed only MoP world bosses can drop mounts in a bonus roll, WoD world boss mounts must be looted from the body (only Rukhmar drops one)

I've been pretty lucky farming for the ones I actually want.

Invincible was 40, Mim's head 37, and Pureblood Fire Hawk 12. Ones like Ashes, Ony, and Alysrazor all took me 150+ though.

got 3 rare mounts in the morning WOD rare ones (poundfist included) . only because ppl are making group(LFR) after finds this rare mob. really nice practice.(so please if you find any of it do not kill make group invite as many as you can before kill). Any1 who is searching maybe wants to share battle tag so we can announce to each others and make groups together and check more realms for this rare mobs?

I farm mounts slowly and focus on one until it drops to avoid burnout. I had lucky low kill count drops, but my experience is that it takes 4-8 weeks with 10 chars to get a mount. Got every mount up until MoP, but i never had such a big bad luck like some of you with 1000 kills.

Haven't been really going for the MoP mounts except Astral, though I do have the three direhorn mounts. WoD I have the easy world spawns, but not Poundfist, Solar Spirehawk or Voidtalon. Here's to luck!
