I'd figure getting into Smash would be exciting for any fan.

Also, you'd figure a remake would be a way to gauge interest in the series.

Yeah fair enough. A good pokemon game that wasnt Jigglypuff lets go would probably be the only thing to tempt me.

Games like hollow knight and dead cells are perfect for the switch but you can play them on steam too so :/

Fucking animal crossing announced for switch, finally. Other than that Luigis Mansion 3 and Katamari remaster are exciting announcements for me. Online still seems like a hot bag of shit but quite a few neat ports. Bit odd they are putting FF7-12, minus XI of course, on the e shop but not 1-6 when they were originally nintendo, had versions on the 3ds and have been available digitally on PSN since the psp days? maybe in future but still a handheld FF12 is a nice surprise.

Overall a mixed bag but better than i expected honestly. Bet them NES joycons are already scalped out of preorder stock on amazon.


-also its looking more and more like they are done with 2018 announcements. How crazy is it theres still no sign of a Mario Maker port? i mean i'm not screaming for one but boy did i expect it by now.
