Bomb count on Mythic Blast Furnace - Engineers?

    Hi all!

Just wanting some clarification if anyone can provide, as I can't find any good answer to this.

In Blast Furnace Mythic, when an engineer spawns, do they have a fixed number of bombs, which are either thrown to random players and the rest remain in the bomb sack, or is the bomb sack number fixed, and the number of thrown bombs is random?

What is the best way to deal with this mechanic, so that we are able to transition into phase 2 before the 4th set of bellowers?

How have you handled it? Thank you!

They throw 1 bomb every 6 seconds, and have unlimited bombs on them. A sack of bombs always has 3 bombs you can take.

2 Priests make the P1 significantly faster still, because when Engineers are mind controlled, they can't die until MC ends. We always MC the first Engineers when they reach 15-10% and then throw 3-4 bombs at a designated person who sits at the regulator and immediately blows the mine up.

After you decide to end the MC, release Engineer and it should die instantly(because DoTs still tick on it and it gets stuck at 1 health). Now just pop a CD(eg. Hunter Deterrence) and spam click the sack + ExtraActionButton to get rid of the sack in under 1 second.

This is only necessary for the first engineer. However for the other engineers, be sure to have a DK or Hunter grip/taunt a low health Engineer to the Regulator and kill it off there so the sack drops next to the Regulator.

With this way we usually transition to P2 just after we have gotten the third Operator(spawns at the back) to 50%.

You don't even need to MC and still phase it before you break the 3rd bellows.

The answer is literally don't kill the eng. Just kill Bellows and guards. You can kill 1 or 2 eng but only after you have more to work with.

The problem with this is fire mages.

Spec them into arcane if they cannot do encounter mechanics as fire.
