The chance of getting an egg with a double yolk is one in a thousand, or so it's claimed. Over the past few months however, almost every pack of eggs we've bought (usually 12 or 24 packs) has at least 30%-60% of the eggs containing double yolks; which is very good for me as I like to eat them boiled, but perhaps inconvenient for those who do baking, with all the leftover yolks they'd likely have. Either way I can't complain; the more yolks, the better.
Just thought it was an odd/quirky phenomenon; curious to see if people elsewhere have the same luck.
