Rumor: Could Nintendo be wanting to revive Hudson Soft games owned by Konami?

    http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1089111

Based on translated tweets on this NeoGAF thread, it seems Nintendo got the licensing rights to a popular Japan-only board game Momotaro Dentetsu whose gameplay has been compared to Monopoly.

And remember, many former Hudson Soft employees now work for Nintendo.

Could Nintendo help revive other Hudson Soft franchises, including such favorites like Bomberman?

Hudon's Adventure Island was good stuff, and way back in the day I was in Nintendo Power for submitting a picture of beating Milon's Secret Castle.

May be true, since Konami appears to give the middle finger to video games and focus on slot machines instead.

Even so, they might keep the franchies, so they can make things like these:

I would love to see a revival of that scrapped Bonk game that was planned for the Wii. It would also have a snowballs hell in chance of happening, but I dream of a day that a legit official translated collection of some of the games from the Far East of Eden series is released (especially 4th Apocalypse).

Now if only Konami would sell Nintendo some of their own original IPs.

I love how others first thought was Adventure Island. That nostalgia.

Was my first thought as well.

And Milon's Secret Castle! I had a video that showed you how to beat that.
