Fix our mages ( with logs )

Hey guys, i wanted to know if our mages are doing anything wrong or maybe some little fixes that you can suggest.

well I don't know exactly how to analyse logs, but I can link my best heroic Iron Reaver pull for comparison. It seems like (looked at Buztopatar) he doesn't get enough damage out of his crystal. My pull rotation is to hit the boss once with the pre-cast and then place the crystal hoping to get the doom nova on it. if the doom nova proccs on the boss I still place the crystal and spam arcane blasts on it. When I get an arcane missiles procc I then switch to the boss (or target with PoF procc on) to hit it with the arcane missiles and then switch back to the crystal to spam arcane blasts. Other than that I wait with PC and AP till the ring is ready again so that it lines up, exept if I can see that the boss will die before the ring is ready, then i just use the cd's

I looked at iron reaver which is pure single target and here is what I see:
Eonwe, by far the worst geared mage of the 3; has reasonably low arcane blast casts, though he has no class trinket which means he has longer cast times/damage output in comparison to the other two. - has more blink uses than ice floes (why?!!) - Missed one evocation on his 2nd burn phase - Only 1 presence of mind use (why?!?) - Only one arcane torrent use -> it's not mandatory to use but why wouldn't you use it to get free 3% mana back, more mana = more dps after all. At probably the most shocking was when i looked at the replay, he uses his supernova charges on the boss in his opener, rather than on the prismatic crystal, i'm sure there are multiple ways to open but this is not one of them (i suggest sticking to building up 4x arcane charges IF you have arcane missiles dump them before starting your burn phase because you have the chance to procc temporal heroes which will increase your damage by alot on the prismatic crystal, if no missiles you pop arcane power > prismatic crystal > supernova once and burn only arcane blasts on it (regardless of having 3 stacks of arcane missiles during your prismatic burn phase) dump your 2nd charge of supernova on your crystal when your Incanter's flow is on 5 stacks, if you still have alot of mana after that burn (probably not but ok lets say if you do) burn off some more mana then use evocation; end of burn phase (tip: try to use evocation with bloodlust or your weapon haste enchant procc still up so it regenerates your mana quicker.)

Buztopatar, your best geared mage of the 3; I don't think he needs much fixing, he does fine looking by logs apart from his opener, he arcane blasts the boss on the pull, which on 90% of the cases will procc his trinket (doom nova) on the boss. he proceeds with prismatic crystal burn phase (does that fine) but completely ignores his doom nova procc on the boss, you either place your crystal and dump arcane missiles on your doom nova target or you delay till your doom nova runs out and then burn on your prismatic crystal.

Megy; pretty low amount of arcane blast casts and does something I personally have never seen before on the start of his MANA BURN phase; he prepares good, 4 stacks and dumps missiles and then he uses arcane torrent to gain 3% mana back, why? you're burning your mana there is no reason to get the 3% back there, well I guess in his case it probably was because he doesn't use evocation till the end of the fight like huh? he has NO burn phases! He uses shit like arcane barrage to dump his arcane stacks on his crystal (?) I suggest looking at some World of logs replays done by some top arcane mages to really see what they cast during their openers because what you are doing is just conserving mana the whole fight and basically ignoring the skill that allows you to actually burst. Also missed 1 presence of mind. I think after fixing this he'd gain alot more dps overall.

Do note that the Prophecy of fear trinket is an insane dps increase aswell as the class trinket, so you can't compare these 3 to eachother, that wouldn't be fair to any of them.
