Difficult question..

I'll have to pick Elly from Xenogears.

This is actually a really good choice. I *hate* Xenogears. But I think the two lead characters had one of the most human, believable relationships in a video game ever.

I will go the completely ridiculous route and choose Bayonetta though because reasons.

I tend to learn towards the silent types that have that dark, mysterious, and brooding but tough aura, but are innately good guys that fight for what they believe in. I like guys that I wouldn't be able to figure out easily, that have an in-depth but quiet personality and an interesting and meaningful point of view. Above all, they have to be compassionate men, with a strong sense of determination and loyalty to others and their ideals.

I also have a tendency to like darker hair, are Caucasian, are soldier/warrior/military/mercenary types or leaders of men/women... So this is my list, I suppose at the moment this is in order, too...



James Raynor

While my only disagreeable part about Raynor would be his accent and mannerisms. He is a well rounded character and definitely has the combination of traits mentioned above.



Naked Snake / Big Boss

He is a very amiable soldier and later mercenary leader, while in MGS3 he is essentially going through the majority of his hardening into the reputable badass that he is, in the end he shows himself to be a genuine good guy, despite all the horrid crap that he goes though throughout the Metal Gear series... My only grip about him is his lack of social skills and his constant pulling from the rest of the world every so often, while it can be attractive in some manners, he tends to do it more often than not.

Ezio Auditore da Firenze

While he starts out with the aspect of being a womanizer from the beginning, he grows to really care for others and you later learn how dedicated he can be along with the wonderfully intricate story that is Ezio's life. I particularly like him in Revelations, when he is older and has that demeanor of his long and extensive history about him.



Anyways, those would be my choices in this aspect. However, fortunately for me, I do, in fact, have a husband that possesses a lot of these traits, as well. I am happy to say that I have quite the catch, so, while it's nice to think of these game characters, I do have what I want already.

Regal Bryant from Tales of Symphonia. Mature, muscles to die for, and the CEO of the world's most successful company. Sure he has some dead wife issues, but yum!
