8 month old gtx 960 cooked?

Like the title says. Got home today, turned on pc, signal not found. Threw in an old POS card I had laying around and it fired right up. Swapped back and yep, still dead. The fans on the bottom try to turn on, shutter a bit, and stop. It's supposedly still under warranty but I'll find out more tomorrow. Anybody have any experience with nvidia's warranty? Any good? Lots of trouble?

If its 8 months its under warranty unless it was a 3rd party or refurb. Send it on back. It happens but you should be covered.

Pretty sure you don't deal with Nvidia when a video card breaks. You deal with the card manufacturer.

There are a few select models directly from nvidia, if that's his case. But yeah, manufacturer might be best. Or maybe even better, the place it was purchased from. Sometimes retail warranty is faster than manufacturer warranty.
