1 expansion worth of content is scraped

People act like scrapped content is some kind of terrible, nearly illegal, satanic thing. Every movie, every TV show, and every video game features an entire duplicate of itself in cut content. It's ridiculous how rabid you all get over it in WoW.

Whats even more ridiculous is your gatekeeping, to which lengths you go at defending blizzard. No one said that cut content doesn't exist in other media, but it's reached absurd amounts in wow.

Unfortunately just another petty bandwagon for people to jump onto.
Content not making it into the game does not necessarily equal disappearing into the nether completely as too many assume.
Why do people assume that parts of it do not come out elsewhere in the game.

it is like advertising for harry potter with wands shooting everywhere
but you watch the movie and all the wands are scraped/cut

Blizzcon is early plans, and anyone who makes those arguments is just in denial of how things can and will change over time during development for a variety of reasons.
Not everything works out, and as shown by player feedback things can change dramatically if the feedback is good.

Yeah... no.

Your other games, TV shows and movies dont show this cut content in their trailers or at their official game conventions. AND then go on about it for months without telling their customers that its already scrapped.
