The line between Alpha & Beta has been blurred a lot this time around. Essentially, we're in what would be considered Beta by the standard we've seen in previous expansions, but people are still insisting on calling it Alpha (both internally, and here) for various other reasons as well.
Just know, and all you need to worry about is that they're currently in what should be classed as a Beta.

Yeah what we see so far is very nice i think the mop beta was alot worse !!!
I have no alpha right now but what i can see is really solid

yes they are the same realms. more accurately the same servers.
