So do you use neck ties or bow ties
Kom graun, oso na graun op. Kom folau, oso na gyon op.

Depends. For highly formal events such as a reception or a wedding, bow tie; for everything else, classical tie.
For what, everyday wear to work and such? Or at formal gatherings?
Neck ties for work related things and meetings, a bow tie for more formal events.
When it's needed, bow tie, but generally I prefer the neck tie, it looks much sharper.
I thought most new Dr Who fans were about the bow tie? "Bow ties are cool"
Real men wear neck ties.
Where is the option for No Tie?
Ties are so horrible imo. Hate having to put one on.
neck ties are a lot smarter
I'd rather go back in time and choke the inventor of the tie with his invention so we don't have to wear the stupid things.
Putin khuliyo
I've only had to wear a tux once in the past decade. Unless you're really rich going to a charity gala, there are very few occasions to wear one, and I believe bow ties only go with tuxes. They make you look like a clown paired with any clothes but a tux.
Mayhem's threads are starting to be recognizable by their tittles...
Neck ties for formal events, such as important work meetings, weddings, Christenings, etc.
Bow tie for black tie/white tie events, I get invites to a few black tie events a year, though the number of white tie events I have been invited to in my life is a grand total of one.
There is nothing wrong with wearing bow ties in place of neck ties, other than you look like a knob.
I haven't worn a tie since I had to wear a uniform back in high school. I love how casual the modern work place is.
Bowties are for little boys.

Your name will carry on through generations, and will never be forgotten.
Neither.
Neckties and bowties are a ridiculous anachronism in today's world. They were a ridiculous anachronism in the 1930s. Originally, they existed because you'd literally tie your collar closed with them. We have buttons for that.
It never ceases to amaze me that women's fashion has come so far over the last century and a half, while men's business dress has tweaked the size of lapels and whether pleats are in and minor details like that, and that's it.
That's from about 100 years ago. If you plopped those guys in New York City in 2016, maybe without that one guy's bowler hat, nobody would notice anything all that odd about them.
Meanwhile, women's fashion from the same era;
Would look like a costume from a movie or something, because nobody dresses anything like that today.
