Which is there really a point in banning someone that will just come back and do the same thing.

Most likely well, since Trudeau didn't really do anything wrong. If anyone was in the wrong, it was the woman who was blocking the elder politician and laughing at him, who then got shoved by Trudeau a bit, and went all professional victim immediately.

She was in the wrong. She's the asshole trying to block someone else's way with her body. She's the douchebag here.

No, that is not how it works, Trudeau does not get to shit all over accepted Parliamentary norms by barging through people and grabbing someone.

    Trudeau is in the wrong.

He may well not like how Parliaments work, but that is the body which gives him his authority, he can not have it both ways. He was right to make an apology and that is the only thing that goes in his favour here.

Both things can be right. It's not an either-or -situation.

The whole system is asinine and childish if you've got some kind of "traditions" of physically blocking people from doing their jobs. If that's your system then grow the fuck up. Also, if you're doing that and being a complete cunt about it, laughing away, then you're just that; a cunt. And, if you're taking part in such a ridiculous system, then yeah, you're in the wrong, just as much as the entire system is in the wrong. You don't get to skate by saying "well those are the rules mew mew mew."

Yes, Trudeau made a mistake by barging in to let the man through a bit too eagerly, and yes, he accidentally shoved that asshole woman a bit. For that, he should apologize. It was a simple accident, no harm no foul. Nobody actually got hurt. The woman is just fine. She's lying through her teeth trying to claim she was somehow "hurt" by the whole situation.

This is just a case of people acting like hyenas, jackals, pouncing on a scrap to try and somehow attack this guy. It's despicable and pathetic. I don't agree with a lot of what he's done, but these kind of people in politics seriously disgust me. Put them on an ice floe and send them on their way.

The system has worked for centuries, if Trudeau does not accept the system then he should leave it or work to change it. However he quite obviously does accept the system, hence his apology.

You do not get to say that "...Trudeau didn't really do anything wrong", when he did, he broke protocol and that IS doing something wrong.

Perhaps the Finnish system is a free-for-all zoo, but that is not how systems based on British Parliament work.

No, see, that's the thing. A "zoo" is something with asinine systems of blocking people physically from doing their jobs. That's animal behavior.

The Finnish system is free from "zoo" behavior, unlike, it seems, the Canadian one.

    Yeah imagine that.

Here's a video from last year, of a plenary session of the Finnish parliament (Eduskunta):

We don't have people blocking other people from speaking. Physically, with their bodies. Can't stop facepalming here. It's like...what is this, a kindergarten?

So is barging through people and grabbing someone acceptable in the Finnish system?

Note that I am not defending the other people involved, but you are defending Trudeau. So why is breaking protocol acceptable for him to do? Or are you going to recant your statement that "...Trudeau didn't really do anything wrong"?

    He did nothing wrong. Period.

In fact, next time he should do a pile driver and a leg drop just to drive the point home.

    Even Trudeau disagrees with you.

um that's literally nothing. apparently physically escorting someone to do their job is not allowed but not doing your job is.

"Children"? Oh, right. "Vegas82"... Is 1982 the year you were born? That's why you're all uppity about ages? Cool. I was born in 1979. I turn 37 in about a month. Hey, now it's your turn to talk about how I'm not a child because of my age but because of what I'm saying. Go!

There you go, a level of argument you can deal with, as quite clearly you can not handle anybody criticising Trudeau.

He should have thrown her to the floor, stood up on a desk and delivered a macho man style elbow, since they reacted like thats what happened anyways.
