Considering it's by far the most common sexuality, I think hedging your bets that your kid will turn out straight is a fairly safe move. If they don't, then any normal person would react accordingly and accept them for who they are. But raising a child as a homosexual before it even knows what sexuality is or has an identity is kind of like raising a black kid as if he were Chinese. Or she. I don't mean to presume their gender.
