Help with view distance in wow

Hello everyone! i don't post very often but i need help. When i change my view distance option in WoW to ultra it resets itself to good, it doesn't even change to ultra, it resets the moment i close the "system" windows. I need some help, did this happen to anybody else?

Does your preset cursor change to custom when doing this? Try changing it to custom first, then change your view distance.

It does change to custom, but i still get the same problem.

try running the game with admin privileges and see if it will work then.

Can you change other settings?

I tried running with admin, but it didnt work. All the other settings can be changed normally except for the view distance.
