The new Tesla model 3's are a good example.
We had synthetic oil decades ago unfortunately the big oil companies buy the formulas and then never release them into public view. As to not easy to prove just look at the global temperature for this year it's not so difficult.

I doubt they think it doesnt think it exists. I just think they dont care about it. Its not a priority. Attempting to fight it makes our quality of life worse either through being forced to give up convenience or quality, or having to spend more money. I think they like myself think that it is either a naturally occurring cycle that will correct itself, or we dont care about it because we will be dead before anything bad happens

    Maybe some details.

The Montreal Protocol being used as a guideline by the EPA only prevents the total production and import of new HCFC's such as R-22 in 2020. Reclaimed and recycled R-22 can still be obtained by a customer until 2030. Well beyond the expected lifespan of existing R-22 based A/C units (14-16 years). There are also drop in refrigerants that serve as an alternative to R-22 that are not on the EPA Class 2 HCFC's list. These come in blends (RS-44/RS-45/RS-52) that can work with or without a capillary or expansion device, and no need for a complete dryout or oil replacement, all depends on what you need.

In short, existing R-22 appliances are going to be long dead/obsolete by the time any of this shit even matters and new units don't even use it.

That's simply an issue where money has too much lobbying power in politics. I just signed a petition for my county today to limit financial contributions.

.......as we are half way through the warmest year on record which is beating the second warmest year on record which was last year.

Yeah all of those "microbeads" in your makeup(wut?) are long gone and being encouraged to use CFL's/LED's instead of Incandescent lights has truly impacted everyone's quality of life lol.

Youre forgetting that alternatives not only need to cost the same or less than the product they are replacing, they ALSO need to perform the same or better, and most "green" products fail miserably in the perform the same or better category

Sure, a naturally occurring cycle that will have no impact on us because we'll all be dead by the time anything bad happens. Jeez orlong I'm glad I have you to make me feel better rather than every single scientific body on the planet.

Well this is just a crock of shit without some of your famous anecdotal examples...still probably a crock of shit.

    You are right.
I think there should be absolutely no regulations on homes at all.
I didnt say none. I said a lot less. Only regulations regarding safety should be allowed so people dont have their home collapse

That's true! Thousands have died due to flooding/hurricanes in 2015.
    ]

And of course you can conclusively prove that those deaths are directly and absolutely due to "climate change" and not to naturally occurring weather cycles.

    No, you cant.

Sydney, summer, 40 degrees C "dont use your air condiitoner bacaise of global warming"

what is this naturally occuring weather cycles bullshit?! How the fuck is this a naturally occuring weather cycle?

Microbeads were in shower gel. They made it easier to remove dead skin cells and make you feel cleaner. And we arent being "encouraged to use CFL/LED bulbs" we are being FORCED to by banning incandescent ones. There STILL isnt a CFL or LED light bulb that puts out the same quality and color temperature of light as GE Reveal 100W bulbs, which is why I still have hundreds of them left that I bought up before they were banned and will use them until I die!

    Please

    Wikipedia.

    Do better than THAT.

To date there has not been one weather event anywhere in the last hundred years that can be sheeted home to "wobal glorming" with 100% certainty.

Considering that your chances of dying to a terrorist attack are virtually nil, whilst these chemicals do environmental damage on a global scale that lasts decades to centuries, yeah. It actually is more of a problem.

That it seems absurd to you because you have a disproportionate fear of terrorists is your problem, not Kerry's.

The joke is the left wingers who think right wingers don't believe in it, when everyone knows its real but right wingers elect to ignore it because its honestly not worth consideration with a mere 80 year life-span, especially while the mechanics of our planet are largely unknown. (Still absolutely zero guarantees in forecasting weather, for example.)

Maybe Weather is literally the core of RNG in our current existence, the algorithm we have to discover to win.

Some things can be done inexpensively, or relatively so. Wood is not a good material for keeping a home cool, other materials such as concrete, stone brick cob/adobe etc are materials that conduct heat slowly...building a basement and finishing it...awnings/trees/vines...window treatments....lighter colored roofs to reflect heat...attic fans or other ventilation systems that ventilate air outwards...

In parts of the Southwest you can see homes that have been designed to be passively cool, some of them are pretty neat. Cave homes are a little out there imo but some of them are beautifully done.

Coolest summer we've had in Portland since I've moved out here, it's been great.

Not arguing about global warming, been watching the glaciers melt each year in AK since I was a little girl through high school.
