    DDoS?

    Did the realms just get DDoS'd?

    Capital punishment seems harsh. Lopping off 10 fingers is probably enough for a first offense. If they do it again with a voice interface then there's always the tongue. Following that, if they use a brain-computer interface, then brain removal would be fine.
