    Why isn't Unstable Affliction like Hand of Gul'dan?

    If the intent is for Afflocks to spam Unstable Affliction to jack up the damage, why not dispense with the 5-7 GCDs necessary to get that rolling?

    UA stacking is the worst idea they have ever came up with. They are shooting themselves with how hard it is to balance in PvP. And you cannot make it worthless considering how expensive it is to cast.

    Rework Contagion because it introduces an awful double-dip mechanic into what is already a clusterfuck of a spell. Affliction needs a pvp nerf anyway so I'm really not feeling your complaints.

    PVP doesn't matter because it now has it;s own modifiers, they could make UA as powerful as they liked for PVE and have modifiers for PVP to control it.


    A good way to bring up PCE single target would be that "stacking" UA's have a buff/debuff effect, like, each Unstable Affliction you cast on the target increases the damage of Unstable Affliction by 10%

    Only a partial solution, as one of affy's issue sis ramp, it really doesn; tneed more

    On this very board, some people figured out that spamming UA while specced into Contagion adds more than 15% damage to the sum of the UA damage.

    Already nerfed. Third time in row. Can you count affliction warlocks in 3v3 above 2k rating and then count warriors/rogues/dh? They're screaming for heavy nerf. Basicaly all melee need nerf for about 5-50% damage in pvp based on specs (frost dk maybe don't need any nerfs, it's hard to find one frost dk lol, but sub rogue for example need to be struck by 50% nerfbat, 400k eviscirate crits is not fair with godlike mobility and damage immunes and even healing, they just need it to satisfy "more mobility less damage" which currently working 100% in opposite - the less mobile you're the less damage you do)

    Also Contagion is just bad talent. It's purpose is clearly to maintain UA as long as possible. But with bloodlust your UA lasts for 3 seconds, lol. The more haste you get the less UA duration is. It's very frustrating. Talent like Rot and Decay will help a lot in pve (current state is pretty op in pve, you can test it on pvp dummy, you will get 300k+ dps in mere seconds so it need to be capped somehow in pve)

    Because it basically kills the option to spread UA on multiple targets.

    The way they made UA in legion is to give the option to dump all those UA into 1 target or spread them up like before, sadly the duration of UA is too short for proper spreading ( even with endless affliction).

    The problem though is if it lasts longer they need to spread the damage out, which just increases our ramp up. The fact that Drain Life is our best dps skill is depressing as fuck, outside of a 20stack Agony which takes 36 seconds to get to.
