What made you decide on your spec?

I'm having trouble deciding between fire and frost. Both are quite cool and quite fun. I was thinking that maybe whatever helped you decide on your spec can help me decide on mine. I'm a bit of a noob with mages so I also wonder which of the two is better at what? But I'd love to know what it was, that made you decide which spec you wanted to play Thank you

I went with fire for their pve capabilities. Kinda wondering if I should spend some AP on frost too as it looks very very fun in pvp..
