At this rate spiders will carry humans. I'd like to see horseriding replaced by spider-riding. Should make a great olympic discipline - except for the arachnophobes I suppose.

... I love spiders, I find them incredibly fascinating and beautiful (with a few exceptions) ... But if that thing came crawling inside my house, I'd perform the best disappearing act in the history of disappearing acts for sure.

Phew, I was worried for a second about a giant spider that could carry a moose. luckily I re-read the title correctly.
I don't think there would be much of Australia beside a nuclear wasteland if that were the case.
